FARM MEMBERSHIP?
A Private Membership Association (PMA) is any kind of business or group where services and participation are limited to members only — and not open to the general public. A Private Membership Association establishes its own guidelines of operation that are agreed upon by all joining members. Because of the government and large corporations hold on our food & healthcare systems, this change is necessary to protect our freedom of choice. Specifically it protects our right to continue to provide healthy, nutrient-dense, unadulterated farm foods, and your right to receive our products without restriction. A Private Membership Association protects our freedom of food choice and association as stated in the 1st and 14th Amendments of the U.S. Constitution.
Once you become a farm member, you have the option to purchase farm store products online and choose a date that you would like to come pick them up from the farm. Sorry we do not offer delivery. You may also come by the farm during our open Farm Store hours, (10-6 Thursday, Friday and Saturday) and purchase available products without placing an online order.
We try our hardest to keep all products in stock for online and in-person orders, but for a variety of reasons, we may not always have all products available.
WHERE IS THE FARM LOCATED?
We are located in the small town of Soquel on the Central Coast of California in Santa Cruz County. Planting zone 9b, zip code 95073. The climate is warm and temperate. The temperature here averages 55.8 °F | 13.2 °C. The average rainfall is around 28.1 inches | 715 mm per year.
We are approximately 1.5 hours south of San Francisco, and on the northern tip of the Monterey Bay, just a few minutes from the picturesque beaches of Santa Cruz and Capitola. Our farm is also our home, so we choose not to put our exact address on the internet, but rest assured, if you schedule a visit, you will get directions.
DO YOU TAKE VOLUNTEERS?
Wild Culture Farm hosts an active Volunteer Program facilitated through the WWOOF (World-Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms) organization. Check us out there if you’re interested in getting your hands dirty with us.
ARE YOU CERTIFIED ORGANIC?
The farm is not “certified organic” though we follow regenerative principles that enhance soil (& human) health.
Our relationship with our customer is of vital importance which is why we only sell direct onsite; bringing each person in to see and get to know the farm and how we do things agro-ecologically. #knowyourfarmer
